Conducts an initial and daily examination of the newborn during his stay in the maternity hospital.
Determines the degree of maturity and gestational age, developmental status and health of the newborn.
Detects signs and corrects hypoxia, birth trauma and other pathological conditions of the newborn.
Determines the need for resuscitation measures and the scope of emergency care.
Applies modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of newborns with various pathological conditions and diseases that arise during the neonatal period.
