Professional skills

The doctor provides outpatient proctology services, namely:

• proctological examination: examination of the perianal area, digital examination of the rectum, anoscopy/rectoromanoscopy);
• outpatient surgical procedures (thrombectomy, latex ligation of hemorrhoids);
• conservative treatment of conditions that do not yet require surgical intervention, as well as induction and maintenance of remission in patients with IBD (inflammatory bowel diseases - Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis).

A proctologist performs surgical treatment of the perineum and sacrococcygeal area:

• hemorrhoidectomy in various modifications;
• excision of an anal fissure, perianal warts, fistulas of the rectum (according to Gabriel, LIFT);
• excision of the pilonidal sinus with and without plastic surgery;
• rehabilitation of pararectal abscesses (paraproctitis) and phlegmon of the perineum.

Anton is a surgeon with fluent English and experience as a surgeon, proctologist, surgery teacher at the Department of Surgery No. 1 of NSU named after O.O. Bogomolets, head of the Simulation Training Center of Kyiv Medical University, as well as participation in clinical research.
